Puchon Choice Jury (Feature)

Hiroki Ryuichi

Made his film director debut with Seigyaku! - Onna o abaku(1982). He filmed Sadistic City (1993) and 800 TWO LAP RUNNERS (1994) which solidified his position as a film director. Vibrator (2003) claimed victory at the 25th Yokohama Film Festival and won numerous awards including Best Director at over 40 different national and international film festivals. He constantly films sensational movies such as It¡¯s Only Talk (2005), M (2006), The Lightning Tree (2010), and Keibetsu (2011).

Youngjoo Suh

CEO of Finecut, Youngjoo Suh has produced, financed, and internationally distributed over 100 titles from Oasis(2002,Dir. Chang-dong Lee) and Old boy(2004,Dir. Chan-wook Park) to recently Arirang(2011, Dir. Ki-duk Kim) and In Another Country(2012, Dir. Sangsoo Hong). Suh is actively seeking international co-productions and has produced titles such as Lion¡¯s Den(2008) and Carancho(2010) with the Argentine director Pablo Trapero.

Marcelo Alderete

Starting his career as a producer assistant for TV commercials, Marcelo Alderete worked for the Buenos Aires Festival de cine Independiente (BAFICI) since its first edition until 2009. He is currently working as a programmer for the Festival Internacional de cine de Mar del Plata which is the only class A festival throughout Latin America.

Sten Saluveer

Estonian film and audiovisual media producer with 17 years in production experience for music, film and documentary. He has worked for several film festivals and events in North-Eastern Europe, including the largest, Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. He was also one of the founding members and director of Haapsalu Horror & Fantasy Film Festival. Currently residing in Tokyo, he is working as freelance producer of large scale film and multimedia events.

KIM Sung Hong

Kim Sung Hong unveiled himself to the audience as the scenario writer of the series, and he won The PaekSang Arts Award for Writing Original Screenplay for the movie (1989). He is currently a director, directing (1994), (1997), (2008), (2009) and (2011) being known as the pioneer of the horror and thriller film world in Korea.

Yasuhiro Togawa

Starting his career as a planning editor of an animation magazine, in 1996 he participated in Tokyo International Fantastic Film Festival(TIFF). And then he began working for Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival in 1997. He worked as a programmer of Forum Section since 1998 and finally became a director in 2008. Also he produced films including 8000 Miles: Girls Rapper and Young Gun in the Time.

Anderson Le

Anderson Le has been working in the promotion and exhibition of international cinema for over a decade, as the director of programming for the Hawaii International Film Festival and as artistic director of the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. He is also a co-founder of pop culture blog You Offend Me You Offend My Family or YOMYOMF.com, which just launched the YOMYOMF Network on YouTube.

J M.jay YEO

M.jay YEO participated in directing of the film, 48+1 (1995). She has done publicity and marketing of Film-Making (1997) and Ring Virus (1999), and marketing for Peppermint Candy (2000), Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors (2000), A Love Story (2000), The Bird Who Stops in the Air (2001), and The Last Wolf (2004). Producing and dramatizing the film, The Unjust (2010), she is currently working as a producer.

European Federation of Fantastic Film Festival Asian Award (EFFFF)

George Delmote

George Delmote is a Chairman of the Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film. He founded a nonprofit association Peymey Diffusion in 1979 and created a number of cultural events. Then in 1983 he established Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film in Belgium. He is also a Secretary General and founder of European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation.

Mike Hostench

Mike Hostench is the Deputy Director of the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival. He also conducts film acquisition consulting tasks through his own company. Lasts five years, he focused in writing and producing films, and joint ventures with international companies. He has written four books on Asian and horror films, and participated in numerous projects including a horror TV series for Spanish TV and Phonetastic Sitges Mobile Film Festival.

Zoe C.J.CHEN

After attaining her Msc degree in European Film Studies, University of Edinburgh, Zoe C.J.CHEN joined Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival since 2001. She also participated in film production for award-winning short film Sleeping with Her, and Hou Chi-Jan¡¯s first feature film One Day, which was officially selected for 2010 Berlin international film festival. She currently works as the Program Director of Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival.

Zakir Hossain Raju

He obtained PhD in Cinema Studies from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2005. Dr. Raju is a noted academic researcher of Asian Cinema and also a director of documentary films those received global recognition. Currently he is an Associate Professor in Media and Communication at Independent University, Bangladesh. He is a regular contributor and editorial member to a number of international film journals. Dr Raju authored several books on cinema including ¡®Bangladesh Cinema and National Identity¡¯ (Routledge: London, 2013).

Una Beck

After graduating from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, she began her career as a reporter for film magazine Cine 21 in 1999. Started Magazine t and a web magazine 10Aisa and worked as a chief editor. She is a journalist for Kyunghyang Daily, in Film and Culture Department. She is an author of books about Korean cinema and Korean actors.

Bongseok Kim

Film and pop culture critic. He was a former journalist for Korean film magazines including Cinephile, Cine21 and Hankyoreh Newspaper, and a chief editor at BRUT magazine. He has written several books about culture trends, Japanese culture and the director Kim Ki-duk.

LEE Yong Cheol

Lee Yong Cheol graduated from Yonsei University major of Business and Management, and has been a film critic. Now he is an editor at online magazine as well as a section editor at .

LIM Chang Jae

After studying theology in Yonsei Univesity and film in Chungang Graduate school, he worked at the Experimental film research institute and gave lectures on film in Chungang University, Korea National University Of Arts and Dongah Broadcasting College. As a current representative of The Association of Korean Independent Film & Video, he directed several experimental movies and feature films. He also held private exhibitions in several film festivals and events.

JEONG Min Ah

As a movie critic and an expert in film theory, she is currently giving lectures in Suwon Universtiy and Dongguk Universtiy. She is also an editor of Extreme Movie, the academic director of The Film Studies Association of Korea and a member of the board of education at Korea Arts & Culture Education Service. She worked at EBS International Documentary Festival as a programmer and at Movie Week . She is also an author of various books regarding Korean history and Visual culture.

HAN Sun Hee

After producing Talking Architect (2011) with Director JEONG Jae Eun, she is currently active as a producer of a documentary project Mansin: Ten Thousand Spirits with Director PARK Chan Kyong. She worked in the Korean film industry as a professional journalist and a chief editor for more than 10 years, and has written for the American film magazine Variety as a correspondent of Korea. She also worked as a cinematheque management director at Arthouse Momo.
