Roger Corman (Chairman of Jury)
Roder Corman was born on Apr.5,1926, in Detroit. He graduated from Stanford University as an engineering major. A few years later, he made his debut film, FIVE GUNS WEST. Since then, he has been working as a producer, executive producer, and director in the film industry. Many filmmakers categorize him as the father of the independent "B movies", low-budget exploitation films. Some of his well-known films are THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH(1964) and THE TOMB OF LIGEIA(1964). As a producer, he helped many new famous talents, such as Francis Ford Copola, Martin Scorsese, and Jonathan Demme start their career in film industry. In 1990, he returned to his initial job, directing FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND after almost 20 year's absence. For PiFan'97, he will screen a feature film which he produced called KYOKO, directed by Rye Marakami, and serve as a Chairman of Jury in PiFan97.
Theresa Sheen
She was born in Korea and was famous for her stunning acting career. She showed breathtaking performances in various feature films, such as CONFESSION OF A FEMALE STUDENT, THE STORY OF CHOONHYANG, JAPANESE WAR AND QUEEN MIN, and MOTHER AND A GUEST IN THE LIVING ROOM, which are all remembered as masterpieces in Korean film history.
Irvin Kershner
His talents are spread into various fields; he is a director, producer, actor and writer. He directed RAID ON ENTEBBE which was nominated for 9 Emmies, also directed many TV series. His well-known films are <ROBOCOP 2>, <007-NEVER SAY, NEVER AGAIN>, <S.P.Y.S>. He also acted on <AGNUS> and <THE LAST TEMPITATION OF CHRIST>.

She was born in Hong-Kong in 1970. She graduated from London University in England. She is an active actress and singer in Hong-kong. Her well-known films are FAMILY AFFAIRS(1994), A CHINESE ODYSSEY(1995), FALLEN ANGELS(1995), KITCHEN(1996).
Maria Schnerder
She is one of the famous actress in France. After she had a remarkable debut to LE FAMME(1969), she became a star with <LAST TANGO IN PARIS> (1972). She played as a heroine in <THE PASSENGER>(by Michelangelo Antonioni,1973), <BABY SIITER>(by Rene Clement,1973), and <MERRY GO ROUND>(by Jacques Rivette,1977). She also performed in <SABAGE NIGHT> (by Cyril Collard,1992) and <Les Acteurs>(by Bertrand Blier, 2000)
Buichi Terasawa
He was born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan on March 30, 1956. He was studied under Osamu Tezuka, made his debut in 1978 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from Shueisha with SPACE ADVENTURE COBRA. His other works include <BLACK KNIGHT BAT>, <RAVEN TENGU KABUTO>, <MIDNIGHT EYE GOKU>, and <RED BRAND TAKERU>. Since the 1980s, he has worked as the computer graphic engineer in "Manga Production". In 1990, he established the digital manga production system where it published the full-color computer graphics manga RED BRAND TAKERU. Since then, he has been producing the Cobra series such as COBRA THE PSYCHOGUN (SHUEISHA) in the full-color style.
